A fun & formative summer leadership experience for youth in South Etobicoke

Lakeshore Leaders in Training Program

The Leaders in Training (LIT) Program is a fun and formative summer experience for students ages 13-19 in South Etobicoke! This program is an incredible opportunity for youth to grow and give back this summer – and you don’t have to be a soccer player to participate.

Under the supervision of our staff, LIT participants will assist as Jr. coaches in the Lakeshore Soccer League, gaining practical leadership experience. Participants will also meet every Tuesday for training and equipping, instruction, feedback, and most importantly, lunch!

The training for the Leaders in Training Program has a Christian faith emphasis, and is open to anyone eager to grow as a young leader!

Other highlights of the summer include a time each week to play soccer together (optional), a TFC game at BMO field, and an opportunity to earn up to 40 volunteer hours.

“Through this program, I’ve learned the importance of great planning and appreciated the time of training and debriefing every week. You can count on me next year!”
